One of the things I deal with as a designer is incorporating some of my designs and photos into functional pieces for my home. One great idea I discovered a couple of years ago is the magnetic photo rope. Magnetic photo ropes provide an easy system for showing off your photos and light art works through the strength of small magnets. These images can be moved around and changed out to alternate photos in little time. Depending on the size of the cords, magnets, and setup used to anchor a single rope or a track of ropes to the wall, various sizes of images can be displayed and the ropes can extend as far along or down the wall as wanted. The ropes can be purchased through the store at Photojojo.com or you can save some money and build yourself a custom size arrangement. Follow these links for constructive ideas in building your own photo ropes. Personally I prefer the more clean, simple, and professional look of the vertical ropes.
